Brief Introduction

Professor (Dr.) Yudhvir Singh is an accomplished and renowned academician with a extensive experience in the field of Higher Education. Prof. Yudhvir Singh received the B.E. degree in Computer Science & Engineering in First Class from CR State College of Engineering, Murthal, Sonepat (Currently DCRUST, Murthal). He obtained his M.E. degree in Software Engineering from Thapar Institute Engineering & Technology, Patiala with first class Honors first position and PhD degree from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar.

He is working as Professor in Deptt of Computer Sc. & Engg, University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He served as Director, University Computer Centre and Director, Pt Deen Dayal Uppadhyay Centre for Skill and Vocational Education, MDU, Rohtak. He has also worked with Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, MMEC, Mullana etc. and having around 25 years of teaching, research and administrative experience.

He has worked on various administration and academic positions in the university like Director UCC, Director Pt. DDUCSVE, Director UIET, Dean Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Dean College Development Council, AICTE Coordinator, Head of Department, Joint Secretary-cum-Treasurer (Alumni Association) etc. and organized 6 conferences and various other activities. He has also visited Cambridge University, Cambridge, UK, Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, U.K. and Boston, New York, New Jersey USA.

He has done various academic assignments such as Expert nominated by NAAC, UGC, State Govt in Selection Committees and various other committees, etc, and also Chaired many sessions in various conferences, Invited and Expert talks, reviewer of journals/ conferences, member editorial board, advisor, evaluator of doctorate thesis etc. He is member of various professional bodies and societies.

He has supervised 15 PhD research scholars, currently 8 supervising and more than 30 masters' scholars supervised. His Research areas are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Information Security, Wireless Sensor Networks, Computer Networks, and Mobile Communication.

He has published more than 150+ papers (80+ research paper SCI/SCIE/Web of Science/Scopus indexed) in National and International journals and conferences of repute such as IEEE, Elsevier, Springer etc. with Google Scholar's 25 H-index and 58 i-10 index and around 1800 citations. He is Principal Investigator and Co Investigator of two Major Research Projects funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi, India in the area of Network Security. He has also filled six patents, one Indian and one International German and four Australian. He is also recipient of "Young Scientist Award" by International Academy of Physical Sciences for year 2010 and also received 10 academic award such as best research papers etc. Beside all that he is involved in various social activities also.
